How Does It Work?
Liquid crystal molecules in LCD/IPS/VA panels can occasionally get stuck in a single alignment orientation, causing one subpixel (Red, Green, or Blue) to remain permanently illuminated. Rapidly alternating voltage states at 60Hz to 120Hz can gently encourage the crystal to reorient.
Best Practices
- Position the flashing box directly over the defect.
- Leave it running undisturbed for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Avoid pressing hard on the screen with your fingers, which can cause permanent layer delamination.
